Outreach and Social Justice
We help individuals, couples, youth and families in accessing the services and/or resources necessary to improve their situations. This may include direct intervention on the part of the counsellor who acts as the voice for the client or to support a client in finding their own voice.
Our community advocacy work has us sit on a large number of advisory committees locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. By sitting on these committees we can advocate for positive change and social justice in vulnerable areas such as (but not limited to) homelessness, ageism, genderism, racism, family violence, sexual abuse, poverty, disability accessibility and parenting.
Our Family Education programs are designed to give individuals and families opportunities to improve relations at home or in the workplace.
We can help in areas such as effective parenting of children or youth, creating work-life balance, couples information and counselling, personal development, and anger and stress management.
We custom design our educational programs based on the need of the community, organization or business.
